Extremely useful item for breast pumping (2010-09-04)
A few days before delivering I went to a popular maternity shop to stock up on essential items for nursing. I got various nursing bras and the Lansinoh Lanolin. One of the attendants there suggested the Simple Wishes Bustier but I was put off by the price. After a month or so of pumping one side at a time or juggling the two sides at the same time with aching hands, I came on to Amazon and read the reviews for the pumping bustier. I was desperate enough to try anything so pumping would be more comfortable. I was also about to start work and knew that I needed to be able to pump both sides effectively and have my hands free enough for me to massage the breasts and accelerate the pumping. I went back to this store only to be told they had run out of the product! Luckily for me, they had a sister store nearby so they called and reserved the item for me so I could go pick it up. I haven't looked back since!
If you find the whole pumping process a chore and would like to have your hands free to read or type or knit or whatever while your pump, this bustier is extremely useful for that purpose. I use it for every pumping session, which is three or four times a day. I may have to buy another one because this one is getting a lot of wear.

I love my Simple Wishes pumping bra. I use it about 5 times a day with my Medela Pump and Go Advanced pump.
It's easy to put on and it fits snugly; I'm not afraid of my pump losing it's suction. I can wear it to pump and get other things done at the same time, like putting on my makeup, styling my hair and surf the internet on my phone when it gets agonizingly boring from pumping! My only complaint is that the design is a little bulky. I wish it was more "undergarmet friendly" so that I could wear it under my normal work clothes. If they could combine a SPANX product style with this, it would be absolutely perfect.
Hands free freedom and great for NICU moms! (2010-08-31)
My baby was in the NICU for 3 weeks after he was born and so it was absolutely imperative that I pump frequently to get my milk production established. While in the hospital, the lactation nurse set me up with a double pump and I was stuck holding these two bottles to my breasts. Agh!
That afternoon I picked this gem and it has been a lifesaver for me. I can eat while pumping. I can answer emails while pumping. My arms won't fall off while pumping. I shop on Amazon while pumping! ;) Between the stress of maintaining my milk supply and visiting my baby in the NICU, this bustier gave me some sanity.
Pumping is already a drag - why not make it somewhat bearable? If you have to pump 8x a day like I do, I don't see how you can live without this bustier.
I Wish I Had Bought This Item Sooner!!! (2010-08-21)
I purchased this item two weeks before I was set to return to work after the birth of my second child. A friend told me about this item and I originally thought It would not work for me because I have a small frame and big boobs! Needless to say when the product came I was happy to see that this bra could accommodate me regardless of my body type or breast size. Now I can pump on my break effortlessly and multitask. I also use it at home. I can brush my teeth, comb my hair and get ready for work while the bra holds everything in place. My only regret is that I wish I had bought this item sooner! Be sure to follow the sizing chart...Don't deviate.
Working mother (2010-08-06)
This is my second child and my first hands free pumping bra. First time around I relied heavily on my pump, especially for outings. I was pretty BIG, went up to a G cup and so I could not feed just any where like many other "smaller" woman could do. It was so stressful, many times I pumped in the car while my husband was driving. (Fortunately, windows were tinted) To do this I had to turn on the pump by myself, hold onto both shields, be careful with turns and then try and manuevar to turn off again all while not spiling milk.
This time around I have gone back to work much earlier, in fact today was my first day back. I knew I needed to pump often to sustain the milk production so my husband did the research and found this product for me.
I work as a high school counselor and with all the foot traffic it is difficult to take time away from parents, administration and students to pump. I tried it at home before I took it to work and it worked. The real test was to take it to work. It was great! I love it because I can slip it on top of my bra and I am not as exposed. As a woman with an F cup it is difficult to find bra's that work. The size is perfect and it allows for expansion and at some point, shrinkage (I hope).The bra was able to sustain both containers and I was able to take care of paperwork while I pumped. Making it discreet as to what was happening behind closed doors.
Looking forward to many more pumping times. My only concern is trying to take off the shields without dripping on the bra too much. SO far it has been fine but it does take some caution. It is well worth it though!
